120MM RULE BENDING MACHINE

Here at Acon Cutting Formes Limited we take great pride in our HIGH RULE CUTTERS.  Back in 2005 we were the first Die-makers in the UK to invest in a purpose made 120mm bending machine.  This helps us to keep the blades as accurate as the boards they fit into.  (I.e. no double bending which may result in the blades becoming twisted.)

ACON DESIGNED DIES

However we did not stop there, after careful testing of our new machine we found that the tooling supplied was too limited.  So we had a whole range of tooling made to our own designs and specifications, giving us an even greater advantage over the old fashioned way of making HIGH RULE CUTTERS.

THE FINISHED PRODUCT

After all the processes are completed and the final quality check has been passed, we have the finished HIGH RULE CUTTER, perfectly flat and plate-welded for extra strength and neatness.  Only then is it is ready to be despatched to the customer.

AUTOMATIC RULE BENDING MACHINE

Around 10 years ago we decided to install an Automatic Rule Processing Machine, this helps us to achieve optimum accuracy and consistent quality when bending rule for our Cutters.  We do still use the traditional methods of hand bending rule where necessary.  All of our fitters are traditionally trained in all aspects of die-making with over 20 years’ experience each, ensuring you get the best service possible.
